A newborn session is essential for preserving the beauty of your baby’s earliest days, and my baby-led approach ensures that each session is calm, comfortable, and focused on your new baby. FAMILY
Family sessions are all about telling the unique story of your family’s love and connection. This session will capture the genuine bonds between each family member, from playful interactions to tender, quiet moments. My focus is on creating a relaxed, natural environment where everyone feels comfortable, so it feels like the camera isn’t even there. The result is a collection of images that truly reflect your family’s authentic connection and the special relationships that make your family one-of-a-kind.

The process

RESERVE + PLANNING
With a deposit and a signed contract, your spot on my calendar is reserved. I’ll send over your session guide then we’ll chat outfits, location, who’s included, and all the details leading up to session day.

SESSION DAY
The best part! I’ll walk you through several prompts and poses to get your perfect images captured. If you aren’t sure what to do with your hands or where to look, I’ll walk you through it all.

GALLERY DELIVERY
As soon as we’re done with the session, I immediately back up all your images and start curating a full gallery. I’ll send over sneak peek photos within a few days of our session. Once I'm finished editing, you’ll receive your full gallery via an online delivery service.

You are able to make installments towards your remaining balance, as long as the total balance is paid within 7 days of your session. There is a minimum of $50 for each payment. Please reach out with any questions regarding this!

We secure your spot with the deposit and approx. due date, but will not schedule the actual day until after baby arrives. Once baby arrives, we will usually schedule for the session to be within the first 3 weeks of life. By securing your spot, you ensure I will have availability for you once baby is here, even if they’re ‘early’, or ‘late’. Actual session date + time will be booked when baby is 5-20 days old. Newborn sessions may be booked during the week between 9am - 1pm.

Newborn and childhood sessions are best at my in-home studio. For families or upon request, we can look into outdoor locations or local studio rentals. If you tell me your dream (and budget), I have locations I have become an expert with and can recommend.

Great question! The sooner the better.
Maternity is best taken between 28 and 32 weeks pregnant. I recommend making sure your session is secured and retainer is paid in the 20-24 weeks range. It’s usually before you get too swollen, but are ‘big’ enough to be showing off that bump.
I suggest securing your newborn session around 20-30 weeks pregnant. This will ensure you have your session spot and won’t be scrambling last minute. There’s lots of planning that goes into it and we wanna be sure you’re well-prepared before you go into labor/induced.
