A Studio Brae newborn session is designed to hold onto all of it. Slow, guided, and completely centered around your baby's comfort, these sessions feel less like a photoshoot and more like a sacred pause in the middle of a season that moves too fast.
You don't need to know what to do. You just need to show up — I take care of everything else.

THE PROCESS
01. INQUIRE
Reach out through the contact form and share your due date, whether you're envisioning a studio or in-home session, and anything else on your heart. I'll be in touch shortly.
02. RESERVE + PLAN
A $175 retainer and signed contract secures your spot on my calendar. From there, I'll send your personalized session guide — covering wardrobe styling, what to expect, and how to prepare for the day — with check-ins as your due date gets closer.
03. SESSION DAY
Your baby is here, and it's time. You'll be present for the entire session, but there's no pressure to manage anything — I gently guide poses, soothe your little one, and create a calm, unhurried space from start to finish. Parents and siblings are always welcome.
04. GALLERY DELIVERY
Within one week of our session, you'll receive a preview gallery to browse and select your favorite images. Final, fully edited images are delivered within two weeks of your selections.

Studio Wardrobe — Done For You
Choosing what to wear is one of the biggest stressors for families preparing for a session. At Studio Brae, it's one less thing you'll ever have to figure out on your own.
Our studio wardrobe includes over 30 curated pieces for mothers, a full newborn styling collection, and a thoughtful selection for little siblings — all selected to photograph beautifully in our soft, natural light. Your session guide will walk you through the options and help you build a look that feels cohesive, comfortable, and true to your family.

Newborn sessions are reserved by due date — space is limited each month to ensure every family receives the time and care they deserve.

Studio and in-home newborn sessions begin at $575. All sessions include 10 hand-edited images delivered in color and black & white, studio wardrobe access, a $20 print credit, and a preview gallery within one week. Additional images and full gallery upgrades are available at time of gallery viewing.

As early as your second trimester — ideally between 16 and 24 weeks. Spots are held by due date and space is intentionally limited each month, so earlier is always better.

Newborn sessions are typically scheduled within the first 7–21 days after birth. Once your baby arrives, we'll connect to confirm your session date.

Both are beautiful options. The studio offers clean, consistent light and a fully prepared wardrobe. In-home sessions are quieter, more intimate, and capture your family in the space where your story is beginning. I'm happy to help you decide what feels right for your family.

Always. Family portraits are a natural and welcome part of every newborn session.

Installment payments are available toward your remaining balance, with a minimum of $50 per payment. The full balance is due within 7 days of your session date.
